Friday, May 02, 2014 – The Troodon was quite a remarkable bird-like dinosaur with eyes that were quite large. It’s surmised, based on the large eyes, that the Troodon could have been nocturnal and may have been adapted to hunting in cold, dark climates. Troodon fossils have also been found as far north as Alaska (which, during the Cretaceous, would have been positioned within the Arctic Circle).
